We are always on the lookout for exceptional people who share our passion to grow young people through adventure.
Working at the Trust is exciting and rewarding with a huge variety of programmes and activities that we are involved in. Our core business is working with young people and we are passionate about seeing growth. Our instructors have the ability to be part of shaping the programmes and to be part of development of some of the exciting initiatives we are partnering with in our community. We also run adult courses, corporate groups and organise exciting events.
It is essential that you enjoy working with young people as this will be where new instructors will commence their career with us, however our more experienced staff will be required to work across our range of programmes so as you develop as an instructor the range of courses you will be required to work on will increase.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for the outdoors are essential characteristics for the role, as is the ability to motivate and inspire people and maintain high expectations for students. The candidate must have an excellent work ethic, be supportive of directives from management and role model good practice. Experience of working with young people in the outdoors would be a distinct advantage.
Please be aware that the work is physically demanding with long hours, so only apply if this you are a hard worker!
